Tuy trở thành chị em sau khi mẹ Yun Hwa tái hôn với ba Yu Ra, nhưng giữa hai cô gái vẫn có một khoảng cách vô hình bởi Yu Ra trót yêu đơn phương Yun Jae - bạn trai của Yun Hwa. Chính mối tình thầm lặng này đã làm nảy sinh sự ghen tuông vô cớ khiến mối quan hệ giữa họ càng thêm căng thẳng.


Vào làm việc tại công ty mỹ phẩm Jay sau nhiều nỗ lực, thế nhưng Yun Hwa bỗng dưng bị mang tội làm gián điệp công nghiệp bởi bàn tay sắp đặt của Yu Ra. Đau khổ, tuyệt vọng nhưng Yun Hwa vẫn quyết tâm chứng minh mình trong sạch. Sự cố gắng của cô cuối cùng cũng được đền đáp. Nghiệt ngã thay, bất hạnh vẫn chưa buông tha cô gái trong sáng này. Khi biết Yun Hwa đi tìm người yêu, Yu Ra đã ra sức ngăn cản. Trong lúc hoảng loạn, Yu Ra vô tình đâm xe vào  Yun Hee, cô em gái mà Yun Jae rất mực yêu thương. Chứng kiến tận mắt vụ tai nạn, Yun Hwa vội vàng cầm máu giúp nạn nhân. Ngay chính lúc này, cô em độc ác đã nảy ra kế hoạch đổ hết tội lỗi cho chị… Hiện trường giả nhanh chóng được dựng lên để chống lại Yun Hwa. Cô trở thành kẻ giết người trong sự ngỡ ngàng tột cùng… Cuộc đời dường như đóng sập… Sự nghiệp, gia đình, người cô yêu, tất cả bỗng chốc tan tành, vụn vỡ…

Ở trong tù, Yun Hwa càng suy sụp hơn khi nhận được thiệp hồng của Yu Ra. Bất hạnh chưa chịu buông tha cô gái trẻ, ngay lúc này cô biết được sự thật đằng sau vụ tai nạn của mẹ mình. Đau đớn chồng đau đớn, Yun Hwa như ngã quỵ khi nhận ra mình đang mang giọt máu của Yun Jae…
